DE sharp, CE Flat: A Study of Trends in Continuing Education.
Powerpoint slide format. Permission of authors to reuse slides has been granted.
Sponsored by The Commissions on Futures and Markets; Leadership and Management; Learning, Instruction, and Technologies; and International Affairs Presenter: Sandra Parkes, University of Utah
This year, the Commissions worked collaboratively to examine the top trends that have emerged over the past four years. The presenters will discuss these trends in detail, and explore their implications for our institutions, for the CE profession, and for the Association. In this session, a summary of findings will spark a lively discussion of the challenges we face together and the emerging set of opportunities to reposition CE within the climate of radical change within higher education. Come to hear what the leaders in the field have identified as global trends in CE.
